Vegan Food Brands

Here are some of my favorite vegan food brands that are free of any animal derivatives. Most of these can be found locally at Lazy Acres, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Lassens, and even Ralphs, Vons, and more.

Amy’s Kitchen

Amy’s is my “go-to” for vegan (and mostly gluten free) pre-cooked meals. They have delicious frozen burritos, meals, canned soups, meals, pizza, chilis, veggie burgers, sauces, and so much more. Some of my favorites include their lentil soups, mac & cheeze, vegan spinach pizza, veggie loaf meal, and their many frozen burritos.

Gardein

Gardein carries a number of vegan protein products – many of which mimic the shape, flavor, and texture of meat. Personally, I don’t like to pretend I’m eating meat, but I do love their “Crispy Tenders” and “Grilled Chickn.”  These are especially great options for transitioning to a vegan diet and also offer a delicious Holiday Roast option (pictured).

Follow Your Heart

They have the best sliced vegan cheeses and salad dressings that I have tried. I love their Smoked Gouda, Provolone, and Vegan Caesar dressing. (They make a bunch of other vegan products too!)

Earth Balance

Earth Balance offers buttery vegan spreads and sticks that are great for spreading on toast, cooking, baking, and more.  They’ve also come out with peanut butters, coconut butters, and a variety of other packaged snacks.

SO Delicious

SO Delicious has an extensive line of dairy free products including coconut milk, almond milk, soy milk, cashew milk, vegan frozen treats, yogurt alternatives, shreds, and more. They have my favorite vegan ice cream bars and even offer a holiday nog.

Kite Hill Foods

Kite Hill carries buttery fresh ricotta, aged nut milk delicacies, creamy almond milk yogurt, and delicious entrées and desserts — all out of fresh nut milk.  My favorite is their Chive flavored cream cheese style spread.
